Origin
Beer types that could not be clearly characterized as the common ones (such as Export or Pils) were brewed by the master brewers, who enjoyed experimenting and being creative, for special occasions. Often these beers were taken over in the common range of products because of the demand.
Particularities
Schlappeseppel Special is brewed with special malts. These malts already contain caramelized sugar. About 60 % of the quality of this beer can be traced back to this harmonic flavour. The result is an amber-coloured, full-bodied, balanced beer.

Recommended occasions
for Schlappeseppel Special
A rather nourishing and full-bodied taste that should be combined with nourishing dishes (roast venison, roulade, ….). It goes well with many dishes, sometimes even better than a strong red wine.
